I think a lot of us know about the reusable glitch for the Ogham Infinium before patch 1.2. Did they sorta, try to fix it? I hadn't used it (well... ok, I had once or twice) but I wanted to see if it was fixed post patch. I keep it on a bookshelf in Solitude in Proudspire. I grab the book without reading it. Then I activate the bookshelf, read the book in the inventory screen and then "store" it on the bookshelf. The result looks much like it did pre-patch. The Ogham Infinium shows up on the shelf, I get the skill bonus... all looks good...

BUT! Now I can't "activate" bookshelf. The icon is still there, meaning "Activate Bookshelf" with the "X" button prompt (on PS3) are still appear, but nothing happens when you press X. You even hear a little click when you try to activate it, but it never opens the bookshelf inventory screen. The books can be picked up still but they can't be put back on the shelf. So I pick up Ogham Infinium and move to another bookshelf. Same deal. You can get the bonus once, but after you do the glitch the bookshelf goes dead. The last bookshelf I tried it on I did the Ogham Infinium glitch twice and now the book, which you can clearly see and appears active still (meaning you get the title of the book and "(X) read" when you scroll over it) but you can't pick it up. It acts exactly like the dead bookshelf.

So... now... it's gone. Which is fine. I tried to Fus RO it off the shelf but it won't budge. It's now a piece of scenery. I didn't want to use it anyway and rebooted an old save, but I just figured it was a unique enough bug/glitch to post. Is this a known issue?

Yup it broke my bookshelf too.

If I had kept that save it would've broke all of my Proudspire bookshelves.
