Is there any way to play "local" MP with bots?

I just need the same MP weapon/suit config to practice. At counter strike age, the fun started from practicing with bots. Wish I will have bots in crysis 2.

at the moment there are no bots and i dont think crytek have plans to implement a bot system either

maybe a modder would be kind enough to make a mod for that?

Why u want to practicing with bots while practicing with live players much more useful? Bots do not teach you a new tip & trick. And if you're afraid of low lidbord-statistics, u can use nano-reboot.

I'd like an AI bot addon for MP also.

At least that way I could rank up without bumping into aimbot n00bs!

MP is almost dead to me and the only way I will be playing MP after I've hit lvl 50 is on a private dedicated server hosted from my own computer where it'll be password protected.

So bots would be a nice addition.

honestly i think if you want the bots for rank up then it shouldnt be done think bots should only be used to help increase your skill or for new players who would feel bad entering mp right away and not know much of how to play or dont want to be called names simply cause someone thinks they are too bad to play mp just my opinion tho lol

I dont think you can gain much experience or skills in real competitive MP, especially for entry level players. what's going on there is being slaughtered by for god sake know whom all the time. not even to mention the massacre may be created by aimbots.
I don't agree with ranking by killing bots, that will bring even worse hacking into this game. I'm asking for a simulated MP environment with all weapon/rig unlocked, so the entry level player can prepare themselves before entering the real arena.

Bots would be nice. But most games nowadays don't have bots unfortunately :( or if they do have bots they aren't very good team players (In Battlefield 2142 I once had some uncooperative bots who downright refused to give me transport :P they said "not happening!" lol)

UT had the best bots. However that was the main focus of single player.

Unranked servers may be the best places to hang out at first because many of the good players don't play very often on those.

So did ET Quakewars, superb bots. I think judging from Crytek's use of AI, the bots would be retarded. :p
