Finished my first playthrough.

I have been reading people's frustrations with the game over the last few days, yet I don't recognize any of their issues in my own experience of the game.

The main story was epic, and the game was challenging on all levels from start to end. Played the game at 'Adept'.

Soo many cool events in the main story. The voice actor from Diablo also gives the game a new level of awesome. :)

I started out as a pickpocket in Whiterun. So the beginning of the game got a little difficult. At level 7, I still hadn't gotten more than maybe 3 points in weapon skills. 2 in one-handed and 1 in Marksman.

I had plenty of cash, though. To buy decent armor, which I could not use, because my sneak wasn't on par either. Had my first WOW! moment in combat at level 8 when I slit someones throat with my daggers.

Speaking of daggers. How people can make them do 100 damage, without actually really, really trying to pimp themselves is not something I understand either. When Alduin fell, my daggers did 16 and 18 damage. And it took two backstabs to kill most normal mobs I encountered. Making the stealth gameplay very interesting. Since if I botched the attempt, I'd usually get slaughtered in one or two hits.

Ending skills:

Sneak: 100
Speech: 85
Pickpocket: 70
One-handed: 43
Marksman: 35
Destruction: 33
Illusion: 63
Alchemy: 48

I have started a mage now. Will be fun to see how the story changes if I am not able to make peace between the factions in the peace meeting.

So far, the mage has been a lot easier to play than my sneaky friend.
