Just installed DX11/hi-res and FPS locks at 50 : Crysis

Yeh, I just installed Hi res textures and DX 11 for the first time and according the Fraps and evga prescision my FPS seems to stopt at exactlly 50FPS. It doesnt really go any hire occasionally lower but im pretty sure for some reason it seems to be stop at 50.

open system.cfg in your default Crysis 2 folder and make sure there isn't a line that says 'sys_fpscap=50'.
If it does, remove that line and save

I restarted crysis 2 and now it works at 60fps however my system froze twice and i needed to manually restart it (very frustrated right now!). does anyone know how to go about removing high res textures w/o reinstalling crysis?

Personally if my game ran at 50 fps with dx11 ultra I wouldn't be complaining if it capped lol.

Yeah, 50 is unplayable as hell... Who can play with 50 FPS?!-LOL! Just play the game! 30 FPS is more then enough....
