Tool Or Mod That Makes Spell Making More Convenient?

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 7:42 am

I was wondering if there was a tool or mod that makes spell making more convenient. I know you can rename and delete spells with Wrye Bash outside the game, but I was wondering if there was a tool that could allow you to make spells outside the game? If not, is there a mod that makes spell making more convenient?

I'll try to elaborate as best as I can. Essentially, spell making in-game can become a bit of a chore sometimes. Like lets say you want to make duplicate spells. There's no way to copy a spell or use spell templates, you have to do each by scratch. Every time you add a spell effect to your spell, the list on the left scrolls all the way back up. That's a bit tiresome if you have a lot of spell effects.

So yeah, I was just wondering if there was something to make the process a little bit more convenient and a bit faster. o.o ...

Using the CS is all I can think of, but I doubt that's any use to you.

I was looking through the Construction Set and it didn't seem all that convenient (For the purpose of making spell creation more convenient). You can't really copy spells or use spell templates.

What I'm trying to get at is, it didn't seem to help in the convenience department. The thought is, I might as well stick to the in-game spell making tool instead of the Construction Set. I'm not sure if there's a tool or mod that makes spell creating more convenient, but it doesn't hurt to ask. *Shrugs*

You can duplicate spells, and use original ones as templates. You just need to know how, but then you're delving into mod making territory. As far as I know no such utility exists, sorry.

I guess I was speaking out of ignorance. I'm not really too familiar with the Construction Set. *Shrugs* Thanks for the replies anyhow.
