Problems with Female EyeCandy Body Replacer

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 11:20 am

I am just starting Oblivion, and I installed the mod Female EyeCandy Body Replacer. In OMM it says that the mod is active, but my female PC still looks like an anorexic waif. Neither does it appear to be affecting NPCs since I just killed the first female bandit on the way out of the sewers. The male body replacer is working fine, and I assume the other texture mods that I installed are, too.

So, does this thing come in multiple parts? I got it from here:
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10168

Also, can you suggest any other mods to improve the appearance of NPCs and creatures? I wish they were consolidated into a better bodies pack like they were in Morrowind... Mods to improve the world would also be nice, though I have added a few already.

Thanks in advance for your help with this mod or suggestions for others :)

You need archive invalidation to start, make sure you have it activated.

In OBMM click utilities, archive invalidation, make sure there is a dot in bsa redirection, click update now.

Then it should work. Now, the eyecandy body makes a better body shape wise, not skin nice. To make it look nicer you need a HGEC texture packs. Search on nexus for those, there are many.

Ok, I did all that.. twice, then disabled and reloaded the mod, too. There is no difference. Do I have to start a new game or something? :s

OK, looking at the file you downloaded I recommend you uninstall it and get this instead:

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24078

This has the same bodies plus the clothing modifications to match these. Read the readme and it tells you what you will need to know.

After this to have nicer looking sking you need to get one of the high rez texture packs for hgec.

Damn, there are a lot of packs there. 22 of them. It does not give details on what each is, either... I got the first one. My PC still looks pretty skinny, though :/
