CRYSIS 2 LAG

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 6:40 am

hi Guys im new to this pc gaming and i just bought an alienware m14x with the 3gb graphics card but somehow it lags when on max settings with the 1600 x 900 display! how do i get to know on what patch i am on and do i need to uprgade or downgrade the patch?

I went on youtube and noticed people had an advanced mode when on the graphics. the only modes i have are high, very high, extreme and ultra. can i have any help with regards this matter. because people with an alineware m14x had smooth graphics when playing on advanced mode

thanks

Be more specific about "lag" but it's true that on Ultra settings the FPS will drop to 30fps depending on where you are. Try turning the shading option down.

Lags have nothing do to with your computer but with your connection.

true... people seems to mis understand the term "lag". LAG is when your internet is slow and such but it doesnt mean that ur pc is choppy

I play on my Alienware M17X R3 with i7 2820QM, 2GB ATI HD 6970M and 8G memory. When I set to ultra while playing the single player, it do have a low FPS. So I usually set to extreme with both DX11 and high resolution patch on, but if you really want a smooth playing, just set to very high or even high, especially playing online.
