So i installed Patch 1.9 DX11 + High Res.

I got my new GTX 560 (before GTX460).

I played a little time. But after i come from the underground to the next level (it is in a house)

the hole game just get me 1 FPS almost 0,9 FPS. What is this... LOL

its not the problem of my PC... i have an Intel Q9550 + GTX560+ 4 GB Corsair


the hole game is a bug, this site is also bad programmed... evry other game runs fine. mafia 2 all in high settings, with physics on.. but this game is such a crap

Maybe you can tweak Crysis 2 and get 2 fps.

Clearly you have a problem with the game. Try and reinstall the game or drivers.

We need more details, how long do you play before it "freezes", is it level specific, does it do it with other games?

Post specs....gpu drivers... do you have the same problem in dx9 ?

When it happen, press Alt-Enter to switch to window mode and Alt-Enter again to switch back to Full. The frame rate comes back.

Mmmm, I got a GTX560 Ti and I can run with 40 fps almost always. One of the differences is that I have a quad core AMD cpu (3.4 GHz) and 8 Gb DDR memory.
What kind of brand is your card? I know it shouldn't make a difference but I have an MSI card and it runs like crazy on everything.
And yes, like marsman39 said: when you are in game, pause the game, do a Alt/Enter to windowed mode, do Alt/Enter again to go to full screen. On my system that results in a 10+ fps: from 35fps to 45 fps.
