Crash after fast travel to a any city

Hello, I've got a problem after installing Martigen's Monster Mod. My computer keeps crashing when I fast travel to any city or stables. What's wrong with my load order ?

Make Sure Better Cities is lastest Version

Make sure autosave features are turned off..Has autosave can lead to corrupt save's which can cause ctd has well

Ok, I'll try to install this fix and see if my Better Cities is up to date. Though, autosave is desactivated.

It keeps crashing with the diverse water life fix, better cities up to date, and no autosave. It's very strange, I used MMM without problem with the last install.

If you have a companion with you that also can CTD when fast travelling. If it happens once in a while then it could be anything. If it happens all the time then it must be a specific mod.

What you can try is:
save before fast travel.
Quit
load save
try fast travel.

Usually works for me and I make it a point to save before I fast travel.

...or, just don't fast travel :)

if you had to do that every time before long you'll stop playing the game :)

anyway to OP: you have a lot of ul mods and the MMM more wildlife, more spawns etc. A lot of these increases the strain on your system, i'm not sure how good your computer is but fast travel means the game has to load completely new cells and new npcs and everything, so if it's too heavily populated and the game suddenly has to load everything the chances of it crashing is quite likely.

I think the problem isn't related with the fast travel. When I come close to any city, it crashes too. No companions mod. I know that is somewhat related to MMM because when I desactivated all his plugins, the crash was gone. It's very strange.

Edit: As I said, I was running fine MMM without problem with ULs and BC with my last installation. :( And my computer is good i think:

I have had games that had the fast travel CTD and games with same config that did not. I think you may be looking to start from beginning and finding at what point it starts breaking on fast travel.

Since it is cities then first thing would be to diable BC but everyone else does not have a problem. So look at MMM plugins.

Try without the spawn rates increase - worth a shot.
Try without sounds of cyrodill - that is new and it sure adds sounds to every city. Perhaps an increase in sound channels is needed?
Other than that, the MMM diverse water life is the only one that I can see as a possible problem.

If all else fails, perhaps one of the BC files was corrupted in your download - long shot again.

Did you rebuild your bashed patch after you updated the Waterlife plugin and waited in a safe location for x amount of days..

And what are you system specs ?

Did you install MMM correctly and have the BSA named correctly.

the BSA is named "MMM.bsa"
I installed MMM correctly, i think.

Wait, I think I made a mistake. I didn't rename the bsa correctly according to the readme. I didn't see that before because I was only playing FCOM. I will try.

Deactivate the mods and bashed patch and try with Oblivion.esm and the DLCs only. Keep bashed patch deactivated but make sure oblivion.esm and DLC esp files are ctive. Then keep adding until they all work. Then activate the bashed patch. Just like inthe 50 steps to crash free oblivion.

You need to wait 4 days in safe location for changes to take effect, because of changes that where made in Waterlife from old verison to new version.

Disable all other mods expect MMM to verify that MMM is installed Correctly.

bsa should be named "Mart's Monster Mod.bsa"

else I do not see anything that stick out that could be causing the cause..

Do you have the 4gb patch installed.

I am going to recommneded installing the Unofficial Patches..

Incredible ! I've made what Peter ID suggested me and here are the results:

DLCs + MMM = fine
DLCs + MMM + ULs = Fine
DLCs + MMM + ULs + BC = Fine
DLCs + MMM + ULs + BC + All Natural = fine
All my mods = fine WTF ?!!! So no mods were wrong

I think i can't understand the oblivion modding...

In the test above bashed patched was disabled..So

What Version of Bash are you using ?

Are you building in python mode or cbash mode ?

Good point on cBash. I had crashes if I used that but not on fast travel. You may be right on this.
