Imperial Heritage

So, I haven't found any specific information about the Imperial race to counter or confirm this, but are the Imperials decendants from the Atmorans like the Nords?

Imperials are a mutt race of Needes and Nords.

Yep. The Imperials are descendant from aboriginal human populations on Tamriel (commonly "Nedes" in the collective, though the Nedes were only one of the tribes), plus Nords. They also have Ayleid and Tsaesci blood, in however small a percentage.
