I've been away from modding and Oblivion completely for about a year now. What did I miss? Mainly looking for quest mods, companions but really anything outstanding I'd be interested in.

And yes I do plan on fixing the boss fight in Viconia. :banghead:

Construction Set Extender - worth picking up, if you ever touch the CS, or are ever likely to
Immersive Interiors - requires All Natural, but either way, you are in for a treat
Oblivion Graphics Extender v3, and Liquid Water to go with it - as to be seen to be believed
Sounds of Cyrodiil - I have not tried this yet, but it looks good
Waalx's Animals and Creatures (WAC) - an overhaul
Oblivion WarCry - New Dimension - another overhaul
Alluring Potion Bottles - they are very pretty!
Mudwater - another village that I quite like (Arthmoor's are a must, of course)
Multiple Oblivion Manager - another thing like mTES4
Alternative Beginnings - my favourite alt start mod
Duke Patrick's "Combat" (and other) mods - they are all worthy additions to a load order, if the playstyle appeals
InsanitySorrow's Improved Armoury - excellent retexture pack
Dibella's Watch - an ambitious mod; worth investigating
Druid Mod Remade - if you want to be a "Druid", this is for you

I plan on moving Saerileth and Viconia to Skyrim as soon as I can get my dirty little hands on it. Gotta have my ladies with me. This is why I now want to create a cut down version without ties to the Underdark. I'll have to look over the scripts and see what I can do.

Most of the conversations in the second quest for Viconia are very centered around their quest into the Underdark so very little of that can be saved. I don't see the Underdark being ported to Skyrim and that's why I am decoupling it.

This way I can make some much needed improvements.

It's Sulteric Drum's thread. There's no problem with starting one of your own looking for specific mods--happens all the time. And if you search on immersion, you'll find a thread with a very big list.

Welcome back Sulteric, won't be porting Underdark to Skyrim, but I may redo it entirely over. So many things can be done better than what was done in Ob. However, it will be after I am finished at MERP for Oblivion and Skyrim. Will be waiting for your girls in Skyrim
