Hey there i have this problem.
if i play crysis 2 on dx 11 with all stats on ultra it crashes.
whel it crashes in about 30 minutes or so.
or it gets a frame rate on about 5 per second.
is this becouse of my graphic card or is this becouse the game is onstable?.
if i play on dx 10 nothing happens.
same is with the high res thing i turn it on nothing happens unless i play on dx 11.
anyone knows about this or something ?
Or is it just buying a new graphic card ?? XD

Specs Pc.
amd Phenom II x6 1100T black edition.
asus m4a88td-v evo
8 Gb corsair ramm
saphire HD6850 1gb GDDR5.
3 hardisks and some dvd player thingy's

Okay.....I too have crashes with DX11. Sometimes I can play an hour, sometimes only two minutes. The screen gets strange graphical artifacts and then the game freezes. I have to kill my pc and restart, since neither mouse nor keyboard are working.
At first I thought I did something wrong when I bought a new gpu and installed the other drivers....but this only happens with Crysis2. Metro 2033, for example, I can play for hours without any problem.
Tried yesterday, and it happens with Crysis Warhead too....

Crysis 2 is a very intensive game, especially in DX11 so this game more than others will show any instabilities your system might have.

So - when was the last time you cleaned your PC, what temperatures are your various components running at and how many fans do you have in your system, what is the ambient temperature of the room you are in, do you have any overclocking on any component, what spec and model is your power supply?
