Something strange is going on with the animals

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 3:16 am

1. I have found areas where there are a bunch of animals drowned in the water.
2. I'm seeing a lot of slaughterfish flopping around on land.
3. I exited a farmhouse and saw a wolf tossed WAY up in the air.
4. I loaded a save outdoors and there were about 20 rats and wolves chasing the farmers around. They weren't there when I saved.

Does this happen to you too as a common side effect to a mod? Or is it just me?

Here's my mod list

The fish issue is a known problem with the OOO-Waterfish, Use the Mart's Monster Mod-Diverse Waterlife plugin instead (available in the MMM release thread, third topic).
There are patches for MMM and UL available, they may fix the drowned animal issues.
Quiet Feet is available as an option in the Bashed Patch, and you may want to use the Bashed Patch to control the timescale instead of using the Franscesco's day length rescale plugin.
You may want to use the FCOM release thread (second link in my signature) to see if you have everything installed correctly, I am going off of memory.

I think I'll just disable waterfish.
I didn't see the MMM patches for UL the first time. I installed the OOO ones, but none of them are for the area around the imperial city, where this is happening.
I use the Whisper Feet MAX setting in Quiet Feet and I didn't think that was available in the bashed patch.
I have been meaning to switch the timescale to the batched patch, just afraid of touching anything.
I have looked at the FCOM thread, but there really isn't a full installation guide there. MMM is detailed but the rest just say "install this list in order", so I don't know about the little options within each.

Another strange thing is that when a bandit chases a farmer into their home, they get trapped there. I'll walk into one, and find a bandit and a farmer jump into battle, and the bandit's unable to chase me out the door either.

Get rid of HrmnsOblivionScriptOptimizationv1.0.esp, too - it doesn't really do anything, and it actually has a bug in it.

Removed scriptoptimizer, waterfish, timescale.

I still am getting weird effects.

when I came out of the building, the horsie was actually standing perfectly on the two posts but by the time I got the screenshot figured out, he had slid down some. The other day I loaded a save and saw the horse drop down from the sky waaaay off in the distance into a lake. So that means it's not just creatures that are spawned in the area by default, it's also creatures i moved in with my save data.

for some reason the image tag isn't working. It's just posting the link instead of showing the actual image. Is it broken?
