Anyone else having trouble with vampirism?

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 8:45 am

Hey, just wondering if anyone else is having trouble contracting Sanguinaire Vampiris?
I'm currently playing as a wood elf and I know they have a 50% resistance to all diseases but last night I left my Xbox on for 6 hours with the first vampire you have to kill through the dark brotherhood quest hitting me, after i woke up he was still trying to kill my character so I thought surely after 6 hours I would have contracted the disease but no all I seemed to achieve was become really good at wearing light armour.

So I was just wondering if anyone else has had any problems or if you have any tips or hints as to how I can become a vampire, thanks very much =)

nope i get it after longer fights...maybe it needs to be a certain level vampire? maybe questline vampires do not count? i know if you got the other "disease" in the game and were healed that you cant get inflicted with the vampire virus again

http://www.gamefront.com/skyrim-how-to-become-a-vampire/ make sure your resist to disease is as low as it can get.

no its just weird, my Nord with no diseas resistance took what seemed hours to contract it but did eventually ( I was trying to contract it on purpose ) However my Bosmer like OP with 50% resist contracted it almost immediately (without trying to get it -_-)

I believe he was refering to the other special disease that now does not involve lunar cycles.
