Radiant AI / Story

What did this game take an arrow to the knee or something?

I havn't noticed this "Radiant AI" etc.

And infinite quests, that are not fetch quests.. Then why am I fetching mammoth tusks?

Don't get me wrong I love this game, but what's with all this?

Not sure why people got so hyped up by "radiant AI" and "infinite quest"

radiant AI just some random scripted event trigger when you do something like dropping items in the middle of tavern

the only kind of quest that could work infinitely is go to x and fetch/kill y

Radiant Story will track your progress throughout the game.

It may send you to dungeon A to get object B. If you go back to the same questgiver, you may get the same dungeon/object, or he may send you to dungeon B to get object C.

This is a simplified explanation and there's more to it, but if you go to a wiki and search for it, you'll get the entire explanation. In theory, it means infinite replay-ability, but I don't know at what level that kicks in.

Good luck.

This. Shouting in towns will have guards warn you, dropping things will trigger conversations, Couriers deliver messages based on your actions etc etc. The other radiant quest are fetch quest or never ending guild quest. If people thought radiant AI could create quest on its own then they have no idea what our technology can do in this age.Radiant AI is also scripted but most of it occurs at random. We might see something that could create unique quests in a few years, hopefully.
