After using this update one of my 5770's basically died although it had been funny all week before. I'm currently using one until I get a 580 gtx next month, f*ck ATI.

i used to be a Nvidia guy,,, i think AT/AMD is better cuz it;d would smoke anything in it's price range.
5770 is almost 2 year old card.. try 2 6950's or 6970's.
Crysis 2 wasnt made for ATI cards.. thats why Nvidia cards looks better in crysis 2

Funny you say that because the 5000 series in most games/benches that use full dx11 features like tessellation only perform marginally worse than the 6000 series, in crysis 2 there's people out there claiming the 5870 is better at running it full than the 6970 (even official benches show little difference).

I don't think judging from results I've seen from the 6000 series that the tessellation performance isn't that much better, this is where nvidia have got it right with the 4xx and 5xx series, you're saying ATI cards are better than anything in their price range when a 180 quid 560 ti outperforms the 260 quid 6970 in the crysis 2 benchmarks..

Whether AMD improve with the next cards is another question, but I'm not planning to deal with buggy drivers and hardware problems in finding out.
