I have checked every source i could think of to find an answer to my question but have had no success. I have just started to play games made by bethesda and have just completed fallout three and want to get the dlc the only problem is that I can't continue the game after completing it and I don't want to buy the dlc if I can't use it. I am well aware that I could just start a new game and access it that way but I don't have the time to play the game again and I can't use the broken steel dlc either because all of my saved games are in the purifier room. I am a big fan of Bethsda and plan on buying all fallout dlc. I hope there is a solution to my problem.

with the DLC aftr you go through the purifying process you wake up later so it should be fine.
