Whodunnit. It is one of the most complicated ones as it isn't just run in and kill.

Whodunnit. No explanations needed, I think.

Seems kinda sadistic don′t you think, playing with your victims?
Anyway my fav must be Lifting the Vale and the non-journal Forgotten chests of Pale Pass

Frankly, I thought that Whodunnit was lame. It could have been so much more...
I enjoy Lifting the Vale
but the best is The Collector, along with the second quest you receive within it.

That′s why I liked it too so much, it wasn′t layed out in front of you, you had to think :) Too bad though that the prize was sooooo lame :shakehead:

I liked The Forlorn Watchman quest, it was heartwarming, finally putting that old man to rest. As was The Rosethhorn Cache, however small it was, it made me smile.

But to the adventurous soul, adventure is its own reward, and, and... errr.... it's not wroking, yesn't?

The same game but later. The reward for that quest is not leveled, so if you get it early it's amazing, if you get it much later, it's lame.

If you maxed an attribute and then get a boost to it, you got no reward at all (except for a couple that still work past 100). The same boost when you only have 30 points is significant!

Shrine of Sheogorath.

Raining flaming animals on people does not get boring!

You took the words out of my mouth :tops:

Yes that′s why it′s my fav quest, the adventure in Pale Pass alone :)

And that is why it is fun, and the fact that it requires strategy, unlike so many quests.

Purification for the satisfaction.

Though a Nightmare Darkly for the originality.

Yes it is, I think. I don't understand why so many like that quest. It's boring and unimaginative. You just kill some very weak NPCs. It's not like you can get them to kill each other (except for the last two). No challenge or creativity, just missed opportunities. In my opinion.

Another quest I quite like is Vaermina's shrine, where you make your way through Arkved's Tower. It is a creative dungeon of nightmares. I also very much like the decision faced at the end regarding the disposition of Arkved himself. My character recently wrestled with that decision in http://chorrol.com/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=4516&view=findpost&p=120031. Here is a snip that includes her take:

* * *
Unnocking the poisoned arrow, I yet again slid the tip safely into my boot sheath. I placed my hand on Arkved's leg and channeled the most powerful dispel effect I knew into his body. There was no response. My magic was no match for that of Vaermina, who had bound him to the realm of dreams.

Placing a hand against Arkved's face now, I cast a healing spell. Through the bond of white magic, I could sense no pain. In fact it seemed as if his spirit was not even in his body, despite the pink glow my rings revealed. He was lost to his dream - permanently I imagined.

Was this my last nightmare then? To choose between leaving Arkved trapped in a dream, or freeing him with the mercy of death? Did I even know what Arkved would want? Or if his dream world was a place of delight or terror?

I set my jaw. I didn't know what decision Vaermina expected of me here, and frankly I didn't care. The Buffy Doctrine would guide my hand. Arkved was no threat to me or those I held dear. I wiped the poison from my arrow, quivered it, then shouldered Slayer.

* * *

I can see where a character of noble intent could decide either way - that is why I like the quest. I had no idea how Buffy would deal with this. :)

Hands down, my favorite quest was where you went down the giant bug hole and had to eat that ichor (?) bug juice...and it was like a drug, it was the only way you could find your way through that burrow. I don't remember the name of the quest, but for sheer trippy awesomeness, that was the one I enjoyed the most.
