Greetings and salutations.

I seem always to be short on health potions. I'm not into alchemy so I have to buy them. I typically buy them from the potions makers
in Whiterun and Solitude, but neither one of these shops has a particularly good stock of them.

What are the best places to buy healing potions? What about other important potions?

Yea, if you're not going to make them then you'll have to buy them. I get mine from the various alchemists in each city. The general stores carry them too. Unfortunatelly they only have a couple on hand at any given time. As an option you can buy them out, save and reload, their inventory will change and they may have some additional potions.

The easiest way is to make them but if that's not your role then its understandable.
