Isn't what they use in crysis 2 more like a holographic sight?

Its not (more like), its pretty much the same thing, a holographic sight, a red dot, and it makes me kinda laugh at times, because a red dot sight is actually a infrared laser the human eye cant see(dont quote me), but is then filtered through the weapon sights, which is seen as a red dot, so pretty much, its alsoa laser sight as well, an invisible laser sight.

May be, though holographic sights usually don't have just a dot in the middle

I really don't know what kind of sight you are talking about but a red dot sight uses a LED to produce the dot.

Reflex sight holographic sight whatever you want to call it i like them.

A reflex sight is another word for a reflector sight which is what everyone knows as a red dot sight. A Holographic sight achieves the same thing but produces its dot differently by having a 3D imagine put on the film you look through.
