Graphical Issues (Weird Problem)

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 5:49 am

Hello, I recently bought Crysis 2 (i love it btw) however, my graphics seem to be messed up. I bought the limited edition and patched it to 1.9 and when I play, the game has bad textures. They are very pixelated, grainy, blurry(not motion blur, texture blur) and disoriented. I was wondering if this is a common issue and if there is any way to fix it? I am running the game on a 32 bit pc running windows 7, my graphics card is a bit dated, but i don't think it's the problem (it's an xfx ati radeon hd4550 1gb) I have 4 gigs of ddr2 ram 3gb useable due to graphics card, My processor is an amd 3ghz, and my monitor is 1024x768. I Would really appreciate help fast because the game is unplayable for me at the moment! Thanks for your help!

It's very bad. Like I said the textures are very blurry, grainy, pixelated, and disorented. I have heard that this was common problem when 1.9 came out. I updated my graphics card drivers a week ago also so I guess that wont help very much :/

try set the graphics to bloom, and not hddr or what ever it is called. hdr messed my gun up so it would not show, where bloom made it show as normal.
