So I made the mistake of not curing my lycanthropy at the end of the fighters guild quest and I'm stuck as a wolf. I know a lot of people are having this problem but does anyone know a way around this?

If you haven't gotten rid of what it is that you used to cure yourself, just go back where you were and do it again.
