Hello, Im experiencing some problems playing multiplayer on Crysis 2. When I log into the multiplayer, my stats are reset and i'm ranked down from 19 to 1. When I look at my custom classes it shows my renames and custom classes but all are locked except for the first one. When I try to get into a server, it doesn't connect. This is a recent problem I've had the game since launch and it has worked perfectly, until now. Please HELP!

no, as soon as i backed out of one match in the lobby menu all my stats were reset. And now I cant even get into any server.

I had the same problem. What solved it for me was making another user account when you log in to game. You lose stats and dlc which svcks. I've contacted crytek with nonresponse for 2 weeks and still waiting. Tried EA support and they said I need to contact crytek. So hope this helps if you need further instructions I found them in a post about "stats reset" a member named ch4nce was very helpful.

Since you can see your loadout renames, the tricks for out-of-sync SP profiles dont apply. Theres several things to try... Your online stats appear to be ok. You should be able to get your rank and weapons back. The connection issue is beyond my experience with this, but the SP profiles do contain browser info, sooo....

First, make a copy of your C:\Users\<username>\Saved Games\Crysis2 folder for safety. I cant stress this enough. If you are fooling around, do it often.

Then, try this:
1. rename your "...\Saved Games\Crysis2\profiles" folder to something else, like "profiles-safe". .
2. start the game, LOG IN at the first screen. The game will initialize a new profiles folder and DEFAULT profile. You have to re-adjust brightness, accept the EULA, etc. just like at first run.
3. Enter multiplayer. If it worked, your loadouts etc, will be reset but you will still have your stuff unlocked to rebuild 'em with. Sometimes the assesments will work, sometimes not.
This will usually get you back to your proper level. If it fixes the connection issue too, for god sakes post!

If you have single-player profiles that you need to recover from your old "profiles-safe" folder let me know. Good Luck.
