But a selfbuff weapon, is not really interacting with an enemy... Shield, healing, thats something which could be cast as a spell before the fight. [...] Whats your main weapon TrueRevan.
well, you can cast it before and after, but on strike ~50 health + is nice. even more so considering the wakizashi attack rate, you can heal from nothing at all to fully regenerated in just a few hits, a real lifesaver
kinda boring, yes... but some of the worse enemies in morrowind advanced actually hit pretty hard (ogrim titan and the prismatic "atronach" thing, some crystal golem or so)
main weapon... hard to tell
sometimes trueflame, sometimes hopesfire. most of the time a daedric wakizashi with damage health (for the looks, for the style, and i only have short blade as a major/minor melee skill). throwing weapons as well, unenchanted
damage health is boring too =/
i liked the (BTB-)unnerfed version of eltonbrand with fortify attack and restore fatigue. damn good long blade trainer, if it were not for the one-hit-one-down effect of that sword in the early game.
so, these are buffs, too.
no defensive spells, but offensive. but they may not be reflected. i guess the list is pretty short
another idea: are you a dunmer? are you a nord? are you a BTB khajiit? are you a BTB imperial?
then... you could go for elemental damage you can resist/you are immune to. i'm a dunmer and take out ascended sleepers with ebony area effect fire arrows. if they reflect, well, it's painful, but i'll survive
same works for cold/shock for nord, cold for BTB khajiit and shock for BTB imperial
almost forgot: paralyze for BTB bosmer
(immunity even)
