How many hours will you get from Skyrim?

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 7:54 am

Currently 200+ hours into the game already with my one character, so 300? Not a problem. I'm already anticipating the first DLC for Skyrim. I'm just about finished with the main quests and all guilds, Then I will re-roll my next character. ^^

300+ easy! I'm 160 hours in and I still have so much left to do... so many quests and places to explore, not to mention more characters and classes to try out.

300+ is as high as you go with this poll?

I've spent like 600-800 hours with Morrowind, around 1000 with Oblivion, and I've already got around 150 for Skyrim. I'm betting Skyrim will be 1000+, maybe even 2000.

I'm also far from done with both Morrowind and Oblivion. I'll stop playing these games when I can't play anymore, whether that be because real world stuff takes over my life, or because I'm dead. The Elder Scrolls series is great and has such replayability. I can always go back to them and have fun.

Well, I already have over 80 with my character currently, and no signs of slowing down yet (though I didn't play today, for a variety of reasons), I definitely see myself getting a couple dozen more hours out of him.

Beyond that? It's impossible to say. I may put the game down for extended periods of time, but there will be times from now until the day I die that I pick it up and play again, just like Morrowind and Oblivion. I will never be completely done with Skyrim. So the hours I will get from it are unmeasurable.

But for one character? I foresee somewhere above 100 hours with this character. Just depends on when the character himself maxes out.

Multiple characters will add dozens, if not hundreds, of hours on top of that.

300+
I already have 120+ and it's only been like 3 weeks since release, and just like previous titles, I will be playing up until the next TES game is announced.

Years. I might take a break, but what I love about Bethesda games are their re-play value....I won't quit until I have played every race, in many different RP styles, and can memorize where every sweet roll in the game is...
...then of course the forthcoming mods.

I have been playing and modding Oblivion for thousands of hours. I expect to do the same with Skyrim.

Without mods? I already have, and it's somewhere around 5 hours.

Once the CK comes out and modders start fixing the game, probably 300+ :P

I hit 200 hours tonight.
It's been three weeks and the CS isn't out yet.
I have completed half the Daedra quests, the College of Winterhold, the Civil War (Legion), about half the main quest and a lot of city side quests and miscellaneous quests.

I've still got a lot to do!

3 characters in 220 hours, did all major questlines and sidequests I could find. I'll probably wait for DLC now.
Might make a mage once there's a good mod to fix them.

I am at 40 hours right now, but really taking my time with this one. With mods and DLC, I am going to take the game slow and let it age like a fine wine, it will evolve and get better with time. Only want one or maybe two playthroughs max, but I want them to be epic, 500+ hour affairs over a couple years. Plenty of other games I'll play through much faster and never touch again, I want Skyrim to be special and last me until maybe TES VI. Perhaps I'll only finish the main quest of Skyrim a week or so before TES VI. At least that's my current plan.

300 + There's just way too many ways to play this game, and each character can be unique and create their own story.
