first of all, this site is acting very strangely, login things doing weird and i posted a topic about the problems with servers i've been having link which does not seem to be visible in forum topics list. edit:okay i overlooked it, but the other problems still count

and second of all, i still have issues with connecting to servers and keeping those connections, and if i do quickmatch, it searches server, then connects, if i disconnect again he'll search for another server, eventually i end up in an empty server.

and then there is the server browser, you cannot refresh 1 server, and if your connection to the server fails you end up in the homescreen again, so you can spend another couple of seconds searching for the servers again, and if you go from the list with all servers to the list with recent servers or visa versa you also can wait another few seconds cuz the damn thing reloads the serverlist (pretty useless)

and in game, i see some thing ( i think it is my ping is a wifi-like icon) and its ussually displaying something like 20 ~ 30 for me, but it isn't kept up to date, which i find really anoying.

i hope this post does show up in the forum, and what i had to say will be taken to heart.
please do understand that i'm not trying to insult anything or anyone, i'm just nagging a bit about everything what seems wrong/weird in my eyes. and i am getting a little grumpy of losing serverconnections all the time.

1. im also not trying to insult you but it is sure showing up somewhere, you just have to search the whole list..
2. if you have connection issues make sure your firewall allows all connections in/out of crysis2, also open needed ports in your router.(you can find the port-list in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis 2\Support folder, "readme.en.txt")
3. jeah, thats crysis 2, you cant even change the refresh-rate..
4. i think its updating but i dont know for sure..

i've cooled down a bit by now

thank you for replying, i looked into the readme, but i don't think my side of the internet connection is causing the problems. because i most of the time do get connected to servers, and sometimes can stay up to 3 rounds, never experiencing any lags, except for framedrops when my crossfire is acting lame. which to me is enough to confirm that it is obviously not my internet at fault. i have a very decent internet connection, i've configured my firewall to allow crysis internet & stuff, and as far as i know my router does not have an active firewall.

and, with other games like Battlefield 2 and swat4 my serverconnection usually is one of the best on the server.

by the way, i searched it on google, got all sorts of irrelevant stuff...

and the thing with that ping is, other games i play you see that thing jumping at least 1 up or down every second (that is when you watch the scorelist in game), this thing here just points a number which doesn't seem to change at all

then it means the ping refresh rate is very very low (which isnt good )
for this kind of problems google isnt really helpful ..
as with the connection: if its not your firewall or port i really dont know what to say :/ sorry dude..

yes i found my missing thread turns out there are sticky topics underneath the sticky section, and i overlooked it, but it still doesn't have any reply's.

i still hope some of the staff will come across my "nagging" and will be able to identify my problem
