Hello.

I started playing as a Wood Elf for their Archery ability & I know they have a 50% resistance to disease but I was hoping I would still be able to become a Vampire. I've seen online that some people with Wood Elfs say they have become Vampires also. Currently I am in Morvarth's Lair & I removed all armor & I am just letting the Vamps whale on me with zero results! I just stand there with 2 Vamp thralls endlessly beating on me & I am not catching the disease. I even tried letting Morvarth beat on me but eventually I have to kill him because of this drain life spell.

Anyone know of a way to become a Vampire other then through a fight like Oblivion had when you were sleeping, or you could let the Vamp from the dark brotherhood turn you?

Vampire Thralls are not vampires. They're humans that vampires have bent to their will.

Ok, well then that still doesn't explain Morvarth. I've let him beat on me & re-healthed a few times, but I still can't manage to contract the disease.

Edit: I really thought there would be an alternate method like Oblivion had.

Try to find a fledgling vampire. There should be some in
