How many maps/levels do you think there is?

lol its a comma, and yeah I have a feeling Brink will be worth the extra money for the content, unlike MW2. I have yet to buy either one of the DLC packs

same, i do play the game but 30€ for 10 new maps is too much for me.

Well considering the amount of time they are spending on this, I'd hope there will be at least 30 maps. Otherwise this game will be short, and will probably become repetitive. Although the SMART system and other gameplay elements should prevent it from becoming repetitive. :goodjob:

there are probably 30ish missions... on a lot less maps...

Multiple "missions" per map...... w/o a doubt.

30 maps? wow... you ask a lot dont you, MW2 (horrible game but its kind of become the standard for FPS so we will go with it) has 26 maps, but thats also after 2 map packs, it was released with 16 and some how people are still playing that and dont find it "short" and alot of those maps would be too small for brinks purposes, so i expect around 10, maps are not an easy thing to design, specially when everything on them has to work with SMART, 30 is a bit much, and the thing that worries me is that they wont really be able to add more maps, because its a city floating on water, you cant really explain a sudden new area that somehow drifted in from no where and attached itself, but im also now a Developer at Splash Damage so wtf do i know

At least he isn't asking for vehicles.

im prejudice against punctuation

Fair enough

True this would make sense.

They could always add maps and explain it with they're new parts built as add-ons to the city. Like how container city was a dockyard of sorts and now its a shanty town

Maps could be "repurposed" depending which side is in charge.

not only that, but I bet each side has multiple uses for each map...

You might be searching for and removing a dirty bomb on the docks for one mission, then back some time later to assassinate some resistance figurehead, back again to stop some new offensive, and back again to defend some sort of outpost.

Then the resistance would have its own 3-5 missions as well as defending against the security missions I just posted.

When you make missions, you can get a LOT of reusability out of maps.

Hahahaha yea :P lol

I just thought, cause it has more of the whole singleplayer and multiplayer system intergrated, that to make it longer in gameplay, they would have a decent amount of maps :P hehehe
Yea it's a big number I know.... but I like to aim high haha

Although yea I do understand we will probs get 20 maps max to start :\ hahaha

Also it's good to see a developer foruming :P
Have they been taking any ideas and suggestions from the community for ideas? Cause that'd be cool :)
Also I'm a developer... of imagination. xD
