Warriorish class with light armor?

Orcs make bad light-armor warriors. An orc that wears anything less than Heavy Armor is a disgrace to Malacath.

For a true Light-armor warrior, go Nord.

Also... what's this blasphemy I'm hearing about a Nord using Elven Weapons? You're banned from Sovngarde for that offence.

Well I seem to be doing worse as dual wield light armor ranger now...I dont think I invested enough points into light armor at level 23. I get eaten alive by dragons and Kaveal the Tongue (play on Master). Does defense get better investing in the starting perk for light armor?

considering for every rank of the first perk you gain 20% more armor, up until 100%, and there are two additional perks giving another 25% armor, yeah.

Well I am re rolling my toon now. I am gonna make the same thing or trade of One hand for Two hand and be more a barbarian. Thoughts here? Light armor, little bit of block, two hands, archery, smith, and a little in alchemy and sneak? These are the build I'm looking at. Please criticize and give feedback!

That two hand build gives some good block ability, survivability, and feels totally BADA$$ as a two hand light armor brute...but looses the one hand sneak attacks with a sword. One hand gives awesome dual wield but lacks defense...more sneaky though. The barbarian feels pretty spread out though. Does anyone have a good Barbarian build they can post?

Anyone tried this? I made an orc some days ago, originally intented him to either dualwield or use twohand weapons, while using hide/scaled armor (yes I was strongly influenced by the badass orc on the loading screen :D ).

Anyway, I ended up with heavy armor and I am now in full daedric.

Anyone tried this? Apart from the scaled/hide armors looking badass with a two hand axe, giving a much more barbaric feel to the character, the 50% stamina regeneration perk in the light armor tree would be pretty nice, also you can move faster which would help with active avoidance in stead of just being a tank and relying on block. Or would I just get squashed in close combat, especially with dualwield without the ability to block, on any difficulty at or above adept? Thoughts?

Also, a question about dualwield: It's only the attack with both mouse buttons that actually give you "double damage", right? The only difference from using a one hander is that with the perks you can attack 35% faster?

It works fine later in the game as you can still get to the 80% cap with light armor using smithing however early on you'll struggle compared to heavy armor. Heavy armor can also use steed stone until it gets conditioning so armor is weightless and doesn't slow you down. Not being able to block can be really sketchy on master, especially with light armor. One power attack from a 2h user will one shot you. Using a 2h you can at least block or better yet power bash to interrupt.

On lower difficulties I doubt it would matter though. You could probably play naked and have no issues.

With what you said, how would this work for a build?
