This game is the buggiest game i have ever played.

Post » Tue Dec 13, 2011 12:57 pm

And boulders are a lot bigger than sand grains.

Anyways- iv got 73 hours in and the game only deteriorates the more you play (or was it that patch?)

Thing is.. i am not even talking about quest bugs!! That's what you'd think id be talking about, right? Well i would excuse quest bugs to be honest.. there are a lot of quests. But we've got..

crashes (every half hour, more so in some areas)
missing textures
Spastic dragons (seriously- how could you possibly [censored] that up? It's not exactly like they were excedingly complex! i thought someone said it took years to make them? What did they do in those years? )
Dragons that do not give souls.

I mean- isnt this sort of stuff unforgiveable? Would the same thing happen with a company like Valve or one of EA's various things? NOT EVEN GARRY'S MOD CRASHES THIS MUCH. (a game made by some guy called garry and it has thousands of people adding their own code to it) The amount of stuff broken in skyrim probably surpass all gamebryo games Bethesda has made combined.

You know..not every problem is the games fault.

Have you been modding?

This.

I love New Vegas, and prefer it over Skryim, Fallout 3, and Morrowind. Yes, I prefer it over Morrowind too. But it was near impossible to play on release.

I haven't had any bugs or glitches with my game that I didn't cause.

I've only had one crash, as well.

Looking at New Vegas, where I played probably 1/5 of the time I have with Skyrim (I never got that into it), yet I had five crashes during that time, lost two save files (my game froze whenever I tried to load them), and ran into a multitude of bugs.

I think it's safe to say it varies from person to person.

New Vegas was unplayable for me at launch. Skyrim on the other hand Iv encountered one glitch that forced me to reload a previous save and iv yet to encounter these backwards dragons iv heard so much about.

This is the buggiest game you've ever played?

You don't play many games then, do you?

I can think of 2 games off the top of my head buggier than this:

Star Wars Galaxies
Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic (PC)

The latter was literally so buggy that is was -actually- unplayable. Not this melodramatic, over exaggerated "unplayable" that people complain about here. But literally unplayable. As in, BioWare acknowledged on their own website that the PC version of the game was not compatible with a very large number of systems, and developed a very major work around that one had to get to make the game function on the PC.

Not dragons flying backwards.

If this is the buggiest game you've ever played, you haven't played many games on release day.

i must be jesus because every game people complain about game breaking bugs i never get them
oblivion? 1 bug made me made vampire quest broke, reloaded save and fixed
fallout 3? no bugs worth noting
new vegas? no bugs worth noting, but yea i saw flying deathclaw and floating brahmin but its not like "stop take the game back floatingcow"
skyrim? game froze 3 times, luckily i saved 5 mins before hand and i kept going down the same road at the same time, seeing if it wouldnt freeze that time, waited 2 hours in game then walked down same road and fixed.

in total over all of TES/fallout i have had approximately 7 bugs that made me go " oh come on -.-" and none of them ever warranted me ranting on the forum

i play on 360 each one of those games are amazing skyrim is no different.

Believe it or not Skyrim was Bethesdas most smoothest and least buggiest release so far.

There aren't that many bugs, except for the floating items everywhere. I play on an unpatched 360 btw.

OP, you must not have been there for release day FNV. Skyrim isn't even close with the amount of problems playing the game at a comparable number of days after release. I wish I had a dollar for every time FNV crashed. Then I wish I had another dollar for every time Oh My Papa glitched. Then I wish I had a dollar for every day Craig Boone has been broken since December 2010 and he's never been fixed. I can play Skyrim for hours without saving...I don't but I could. I know that's not the case for everyone but it is the case for most.

Agreed.

Fallout New Vegas had a terrible release.. massive amounts of crashes to desktop and freezes. Invulnerable enemy bug. Enemies spawning inside geometry. Enemies rubberbanding into space. You could get infinite rewards from most quests by simply asking over and over for your reward and that is just the tip.

If this is the buggiest game you have ever played (Ironically people says this about nearly every game, really, go check other forums on release days) then you clearly haven't played many games.

Lets look at some google search results for "Buggiest game ever"
- Dead Island
- Fallout New Vegas
- Uncharted 3
- Heavy Rain
- Saints Row 2

And that's just from the first page.
