o.0 Fallout 3 didnt get a section strictly for DLC .. Any wa

So I loved DA:O and bought DA2 a week after its release (for those who don know what DA:O is it stands for Dragon Age : Origins DA2 = Dragon Age 2)

so Dagon Age 2 turned out to be rather fail in comparison to its predesesor (that the right word isnt it?)

so Is NV better than FO:3 or would i end up hating it as much as I hate DA2 ??? (note I do kinda like DA2 because combat is greatly improved but they broke the healing system and customization of the party and went with leveled loot (which evidently failed Oblivion if i recall)

Fallout 3 had a DLC section before, but the main game and DLC sections merged into their own shortly after GOTY was released.

If you are thinking New Vegas will take off were Fallout 3 left off then you will hate it.

New Vegas has many improvements over Fallout 3.

Damage Threshold
Reputation System
Multiple endings
Can join/help pretty much every faction in the game
hardcoe Mode
Traits
Can make your own Ammo
Cook Food

Edit: Better writing in every way

I don't think you'll like it as much as Fallout 3 but it still is a good game especially if you've played Fallout 1 or 2

Fallout New Vegas in comparison to Fallout 3 has better story, more quests, a larger variety of weaponry, more useful passive skills (trying to play New Vegas without speech is like trying to make a sandwich with your feet) more options as far as decisions go in quests, BUT is for the most part easier (Fallout 3, any fight involving an idiot with an explosive or an idle automobile nearby is dangerous as hell, Fallout New Vegas is often easy with specific parts and areas that see a jump in difficulty) and has less exploration and boring random locations.

Still a fun game, but honestly I liked Fallout 3 quite a bit more.

You're the only person who can decide that. There are people here who love both, and people who will tell you New Vegas is far better than Fallout 3 (my own take on it), and people who will tell you Fallout 3 is far better than New Vegas. I think New Vegas rips Fallout 3 a new one, you might feel differently. That's kind of how matters of opinion go. :shrug:

No its not, its basically the same engine and the same basic gameplay, improvements were made here and there. If you went through Fallout 3 its a very minor transitions to the changes in New Vegas. The most significant would probably be hardcoe mode where stimpacks heal overtime instead of all at once.
