Any suggestions for quest mods for an Indiana Jones-like character?

Ideally there would chances to explore new environments and some decent lore. Fighting and loot is a bonus, but really all I want to do is go to interesting new places and look at pretty things.

I already have The Ayleid Steps and The Lost Spires (which I have played before, although never to completion). Anything similiar to those would be fun. I'm guessing Elsweyr would fit in as well?

By NNWAE, did you mean NNW Ayleid Ruins Expanded? (that's what google gave me.) It looks perfect. Any other suggestions for adventures that take place aboveground, or that is not an ayleid ruin? Indiana Jones is gonna be getting pretty pale with all this time spent underground!

Been meaning to try the Oubliette for a while as well. I see it's a community project. How "serious" is it? I definitely need to check it out but if there are lore-breaking parts I might save it for later.

It has been final for some time and will probably not get any further bug fixes despite the few minor bugs that remain. However, methods for dealing with these bugs can be found at the http://windfall.freeforums.org/hints-tips-and-spoilers-f23.html. Though not quite as polished as The Lost Spires, It takes first place on my personal list of favorite quests.

It's also one of the very few quests with genuine replay value. To use a current metaphor, you can play through first as a member of the 99%, and then a second time on the side of the 1%.
