Load Orders that lack Oblivion.esm

As I work on ARES, I have a slight dependency on Oblivion.esm — one that could easily be switched to another file with a little information. But I need to know what's out there.

Can I assume that anyone who is playing without Oblivion.esm, has Nehrim's esm instead? Or are there other ways to play without Oblivion.esm?

For a slightly more technical question, but some might know: are there any overhauls that eliminate LL0LootSoulGemsEmpty100? By "eliminate", I mean, mods in which this leveled list is no longer used for random loot, and is therefore not balanced in keeping with the rest of the overhaul. I'm using that leveled list to determine when a particular game expects enchantments of a given strength.

The only one I know of is Nehrim.

I cannot recall if Mesogea does not use the Oblivion.esm. I think it does and that Mesogea is just the next loaded esm like Silgrad or SoVvM do it.

And we don't yet know if Arandor does.

Here is list of all of Mods that I have that modifiy LL0LootSoulGemsEmpty100 list in particular and make changes to it. Rebalance the list or add new gems types etc..

But they do not elimate the list totally..

Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul.esm
Marts Monster Mod for OOO.esm
FCOM_Convergence.esm
Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul.esp
FCOM_Warcry.esp
Mart's Monster Mod for OOO.esp
FCOM_Convergence.esp
All 3 version of Mart's Monster Mod - Diverse Runeskulls Loot

Not sure if you checked yet but Nehrim eliminated LL0LootSoulGemsEmpty100 from the leveled items section. The only one they kept was LL0LootSoulGemsEmpty25.

I will look into Mesogea; Silgrad and SoVvM should work fine by your description, but I'll also keep them in mind to double-check. Arandor, I assume, is a WIP? I'll worry about that later.

Oh, I'm relying on overhauls changing it — as long as they don't replace it. I need the information contained in that list to be accurate.

Aha! That is very interesting; I can probably use that list just as easily. Does Nehrim still have it at FormID 0003E4ED?

Also, Corepc, do those mods also modify LL0LootSoulGemsEmpty25? If so, that may be the better list for me to use.

Nope. Form 0003E4ED doesn't exist at all in Nehrim. They moved the list to form 0003E4F3.

OOO/MMM/FCOM/etc..All of the mods that I listed do this to them LL0LootSoulGemEmpty25 list..

They redirect contents of 25 list to use LL0LootSoulGemEmpty100 list itself,

TIE Changes that list and the 100,75,50 by releveling all the contents to be at lvl 1..

Ah, that won't be useful at all then.

Doesn't really matter, since if the FormID is different I'll have to have a special switch either way.

I thought it was already done - just not translated from Russian. I could be wrong.

The way you stated what you had, it sounded like the answer was not currently knowable (i.e. they had not released the mod or discussed this aspect of it).

But that's fine; it's another one I'll look into. Pretty impressive from the Op. Maybe I could enjoy that, since I couldn't enjoy Oblivion...
