Farthest you've gotten on 'permadeath' mode?

Quite simple rules for this type of gameplay (also called 'dead is dead') for those that dont know it:

You have to start a new character expert or master difficulty, you can not focus on smithing/enchanting solely for the purpose of leveling them (thats what makes the game too easy imo),instead, enchant what gear you have or smith/upgrade pieces you will actually use (not 1 bil iron daggers), and once you die once, ONCE, its over. I also like to only use potions that I pick up on the way, not actually buy them from npcs - and use fast travel on limited occasions (much more encounters when you dont FT)

So all that aside, how far have you gotten? Many say the game is easy even on master difficulty, but that is because they switch the difficulty once they achieve 100 smithing/enchanting and practically become gods. It IS actually challenging starting from scratch on master difficulty.

Farthest ive had is lvl 19, and that was after a series of frustrating deaths by falls and mobs doing finishers (you wouldn't believe how often that happens at low level with light armor)

Anyone still standing strong? Weapon/Armor type?
