Please Bethesda, for the first expansion...

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 12:51 pm

Make the first expansion to take the war against the Thalmor and put a new emperor with the guts to do it. I really want to bring down the Aldmeri dominion and put them in their place. Enough killing imperials and stormcloacks, it's time to take hunt down the Thalmor and restore the empire to it's true glory from the Septim dynasty. Long live the Empire!!!

I'd rather save that for the next game. Expansions shouldn't handle something THAT big. Maybe a smaller thing like finding an untouched colony of Snow Elves, or Dwemer, etc.

Expansions are the only thing that should take on something that big. DLC couldn't do it... But a war against the Thalmor? Seriously... You've likely spent a hundred + hours playing this game and thats the most creative thing you can think of?... I want to go somewhere tropical... With a volcano. And Sea beasts of aall natures. Hydras, Medusa(s) Sea Serpents, Kraken, pirates , Mermaids etc. And then for a second expansion I want to go into that volcano only to find a phoenix egg and hatch it. But the soul of a phoenix is like a wildfire that cannot be tamed in life. So after a long emotional relationship with that phoenix I must plunge my Daedric Blade, Eminent Chaos into his/her chest, extinguishing the very fires of life from my friend. And in turn, I absorb the soul of a phoenix.

I want to kill Thalmor. And lots of them.

Sure there's more creative things, but I can't think of anything that would be more satisfying.

Not gonna happen... I'd be dissapointed if it did.

Such a massive scale, such epic potential needs a full game to do it right.

I want a sea faring expansion, I want to board a ship at windhelm and explore the Sea of Ghosts, find mysterious islands, treasures, loot and pillage a few settlements.
SPREAD THE WORD OF TALOS!

But yeah... I really want to see those ships in action.

It would seem there be alot of people, on-board with the sea idea.

I want a huge chunk of land to the North in the Sea of Ghost. I want unique locations and quest. I want the world to offer hundreds of hours of new content. I want the expansion to have new weapons, armor, items and clothing items. I want spell creation and more spell types. I want to be able to change your hair, beard, face paint, and your dirt levels. I want new places to live on the new land. I also want new creatures and larger more interesting cities.

My guess for DLC is Atmora for one, and the disappearence of teh Dwemer. Just my two cents though.

As much as I despise the Thalmor, I'm more on board with TESVI: Dominion.

Id actually like to see the Falmer rise above and start terrorizing/haunting villages. After all of the short books ive read ingame it implies they want the "above-world" destroyed. Also, I felt they lacked more information on the dwemer. Of the quests I did none really were to look back at the history of them and perhaps meet a spirit of one?

I'm thinking the same. The next game is in Alinor and Valenwood, where you bring down the Thalmor from inside. aybe even a major war between the Empire and the Dominion.
I just know it. *crosses fingers.

Tes VII (7) should be called "empire" and have the entire continent (you'd need it with the falmor) The player is created by some daedra and gets to Lead every nation if they so choose into war. They can rebuild the declining empire or dominion, take back morrowind from the argonains, start wars amoungst provinces (or factions- necromancer armies included) and the aim of the game is to either create anarchy or an empire (which may please the daedra) Perhaps akavir could invade halfway through the game to really [censored] things up?

That will deal with all the amazingness.. expansion pack time? uhhhh.... i dont know!! Perhaps hammerfell or high rock? (high rock is rather small compared to skyrim) Maybe a city that is in fact an actual city?

Ambitious are we? That would be the last TES as we know them, the end of the prohecy about the Elder Scrolls. The end of TE Sgames in Tamriel at least.

I doubt we see anything even close to that before 2030-2035 as they still got several provinces to place a game in, and we must think fo the tech.
If they do Alinor and Valenwood with TES VI, they'd have Elseweyr or/and Black Marsh for TES VII.
Then they'd probably remake High Rock and Hammerfell in TES VIII and finally TES IX: Tamriel in the end.

Well, Akavir next.

The original idea is much more along the lines of a mod than an expansion. Expansions aren't meant to totally alter the main game. Look at any expansion for either Morrowind or Oblivion - they're all in their own little worlds so that the player can take them up at any stage in the game without altering other events. This allows for much more freedom of choice, so realistically I don't see, and wouldn't want to, an expansion which conflicts with or is dependent on other content in game. What may be more feasible is a moderately sized separate area with quests detached from those already existing. An example could be an extensive underground environment like the Mines of Moria with maybe more dragon lore or some massive beast (the Mines of Moria had the Balrog and the Shivering Isles had the gate keeper).

The Dark Elves are up to something. I don't know if anything happens as I am not that far into the game. It will hard to make a better DLC than Shivering Isles. That DLC is so crazy it made my teeth itch!

Then they should make new game out of it , Let's think of it , they have a good egine now and a lot of assets , lot of people hat do not have now to bother working on mechanics and engne but can focus on the gameplay and new stuff....

the could do like Assassin creed , eengine , same technology 3 games each one betterthan the prvious .... or eve total war , they take out now large expansions that are almoust new games....
