I think the next one will be Valenwood, the Empire strikes back against the Thalmor.
Then ofc there will be the long anticipated Summerset Isle.
We got Elsweyr, Black Marsh, (Orsinium?), remake of High Rock and Hammerfell. Then we are talking Tamriel and Akavir, in the end .... Nirn

It will be TES VI: Elsweyr, the land of the khajit.
There, we will help the khajit fight against dummer slavers, and also find a new race of happy dwarf-sized khajits and help their tribe.
Also level up will be fully auto and you will win a token every dungeon you clear to be traded by items.

Each TES are hundreds of years apart so no thalmor, that will be dealt with DLCs.

Well, TES IV came out years ago.

But in all seriousness, I have no idea. I would imagine The Thalmor being a DLC rather than a whole new game.

I would like to go to either Hammerfell or the Summerset Isles.

actually the first four games take place within a 35 year time frame. All during Uriel the VII's reign.

Though I love the game, the game needs to be patched up because I notice glitches poking its ugly head and have to restart the game to get rid of them. Purple dogs/wolfs everyone.
Have you notice how Beth named their Elders Scroll games. These are the main games not off shots. Arena, II Daggerfall, III Morrowind, IV Oblivion and V Skyrim. admos. Notice the letters going down in alphabetically order. The next one will be between t-z.

I have some thoughts about what it can be. At first there's two ways to end the civil war in Skyrim so depending on that fact it seems very likely that the civil war will be written in history only for a war which has weakened the mankind. That makes me to believe that in TES VI Tamriel is ruled by Thalmor. Blades has been reforged and they are not only dragon slayers or guardians of the empire, no. They are guardians of mankind, the ones who are leading the resistance movement. As we have seen in previous games I believe blades are again connected with the main quest.

Elder Scrolls VI Black Marsh would be nice.

I hope it won't be anything like TES VI: Tamriel. They should stick to a single province at a time. I think the next one should be in Summerset Isle or Valenwood, and be the fight agaisnt the Thalmor.

isn't the Aldemeri Dominion within Tamriel?

No doubt it's gonna be Summerset Isle (that's where the Thalmor dudes originate from, right?) That's the logical step. And with new technology in next gen they can make justic to that land (lots of magic and shimmer on Sumerset Isle from what I understood).

Daggerfall took place in High Rock and Hammerfell. Arena was all of Tamriel. So your idea wouldn't be the first.

The catch is, Daggerfall took place on the Illiac Bay, that connects High Rock to Hammerfell. Not the actual two entire provinces.


Now, If Bethesda was to do something similar to, say, Black Marsh and Elsweyr, we'd have the warm sands of Anequina, and the harsh, mysterious swampy Black Marsh.
