possible DLC weapons/armour/activities

In the next New Vegas DLC's, i have a few things that i think should be added to the game that would make the game dramatically better. First, I'll start with activities/plots that would be in the DLC's.

possibility 1- At Nellis AFB, i was disapointed at how you can't use the flight simulator. i tried for quite awile to find a way to use it, even saving and reloading after the speech challenge from loyal, to try and see if i was missing some info. i finally decided that it was a probable future DLC port. I'm putting this on here because i want to try and make sure that the previously stated thing is a DLC, not just a taunting piece of furniture that makes me revel at how epic a DLC in the flight simulator could be.

possibility 2- At the Brotherhood of Steel outpost, there are the combat simulators. i feel that those could be well used for a DLC similiar to Operation: Anchorage from Fallout 3. Many different things could be done with those, i feel, and i think that they would amke a great DLC.

Now, i'll be talking about equipment in the DLC's. first, weapons.
I was slightly dissapointed in New Vegas weapon set and how they are more than 10x as expensive as in fallout 3, and how the weapons aren't really even as good. Fallout 3 had general-purpose, automatic, well priced weapons, (the assault rifle/chinese assault rifle and all of their variants) but New Veags lacked a well-priced automatic weapon. the closest thing that came to that was the assault carbine, which i didn't like due to astrnomical repair cost, and how it uses the 5mm round insted of 5.56mm. I think that a weapon with a maintnence cost similiar to the weapons of Fallout 3 is needed, i also want some bullpup style rifles with good mods, which i will explain.

possibility 1- a STEYR AUG style weapon with mods including a red dot scope which does not do the actual zoom, but would simply have increased magnification, a silencer, and an underbarrel grenade launcher, 40mm. the grenade launcher would be equipped and unequipped using the designated hotkey for switching ammunition types (up on the directional pad). It would also have a 30 round magazine standard, no upgraded mags. 5.56mm, full auto

possibility 2- a FAMAS G2 style weapon, with a silencer, underbarrel grenade launcher (explained in previous weapon description) and a scope which does not do the actual zooming action, but just has increased magnification. 30 round magazine, no upgraded mags. 5.56mm, 3 round burst

possibility 3- a new style of binoculars which arent as useless. The binoculars in the base game of Fallout New Vegas were quite useless. i think that a new, better pair of binoculars is needed. they would be similiar to our military's target designating binoculars, similar to the ones on Battlefield: Bad Company 2. they would be able to mark a target, which would then be shelled by artillery fire, and they would have increased zoom.

possibility 4- an M32 grenade launcher style of weapon. This one would likely be overpowered, but fun nonetheless. it would also require that 40mm grenades be made much more numerous in stores, as they are very difficult to obtain currently. mods inculde an adjustable stock which would increase range and decrease spread, and a holographic weapon sight. 6 round cylinder, no upgraded mags.

possibility 5- a Vintorez VSS style of weapon (its a sniper rifle that has a built-in surpressor). it would have a 10 round magazine (in real life, it's 20, but that would be overpowering) and it shoots in 9x39mm, so on the game, it would shoot in 9mm. it would be semi-auto (in real life it's auto, but that to, would be overpowering). mods include a weight reducing kit, an extended barrel for increased accuracy and damage and a rubber buttstock, which reduces spread/recoil.

possibility 6- last but not least, a G36c style of gun. mods include red dot scope (it wouldn't do the animation of a real scope's zoom, but simply have increased magnification), a silencer and a laser dot sight. it would shoot in 5.56mm, full auto.

to repair these weapons, these would be the category they would be in
STEYR AUG, G36c, FAMAS G2 would fall under the category which the service rifle/ assault carbine/ marksman carbine are in.
Vintorez VSS would fall under the category that the sniper rifle is udner
target designating binoculars would be repaired by normal binoculars
M32 grenade launcher would be repaired by normal grenade launchers and grenade rifles.

now for armour

possibility 1- A new stealth suit, as the chinese stealth suit was a huge disapointment on New Vegas. It would not be marked by a faction and would fall under the light category. it would feature a stealth field(+10) and a sneak skill bonus(10-15). DT about 6-8, weight 10-15

possibility 2- A helmet with water breathing capabilities, that looks like the T-45d power helmet mixed with the ranger combat helmet. light category. DT 2-3 and weight 1-2

possibility 3- A body piece at the medium weight class. graphic features on it make it look like a survivor/wanderer etc. kind of a Bear Grylls themed piece. it would have a bandolier, a knife on the bandolier, and a small backpack that would supposedly only have a water bladder, thus it would not overpower the look DT 4-5 weight 7-10

possibility 4- A suit at ether light or medium weight that looks like the outfit of a Dutch Marine CQB unit member. i got this idea while watching Military Channel, and when I saw the Dutch Marine's outfit, i thought it looked really cool. DT 10-15 weight 15-20

possibility 5- a ghillie suit. light weight category, it increase the guns skill by 5 and sneak by 10. it could feature a +5 stealth field, like the Chinese stealth armour from Fallout 3. DT 2-3 weight 4-7

Thank you for reading this post, i hope for everything in this list to be featured in any of the upcoming New Vegas DLC's, and for them to be made well and to not be astronomically high priced to maintain. Once again, thank you for reading this post, goodbye.

Why Stery AUGs and FAMASs? Those don't really seem to fit into the universe.... I can understand AK-47s and M16s, because those weapons date back to the 50s.

Those guns just are my faves. and to be honest, a lot of the guns in New Vegas date back to much later then 40s-60s. for example, the marksman carbine is based (i think) off of the much more recent M416, and the light machine gun (M249 SAW) is also relatively recent. the FAMAS and AUG are from 1977-1978, so, in comparison to a good number of New Vegas guns, they are about the same time period. however though, the G36c, M32 grenade launcher, Vintorez VSS and target designators are pretty recent. but as i said before, several of the New Vegas guns rather recent. Sicne New Vegas doesnt have nearly as much of a 40s/50s style theme, it also would work better. also, ive seen several New Vegas mods with the same weapons as i mentioned here.

almost all of the weapons either wouldnt fit or would just be overpowered.

but i would love a VSS and a ghillie suit. make it happen OB, especially the suit.

I liked the Assassin Suit in Dead Money. If we can get more interesting light outfits like that I'd be happy. Other then that, the only thing I'd really care about having a DLC focused on is the Burned Man, and we're getting that. So.

Yeah, i figured most/all of these would be overpowered, but they would still be pretty fun though. even just a refit of the service rifle would make me happy though. if they made it a 30 round mag and fully auto, with mods of a scope and silencer, i would've been happy, but seeing as though they probably won't do that, i just thought of some things that would be similiar that would be pretty cool if they put them in
