To update to 1.2 or not to update to 1.2?

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 4:43 pm

My confused little mind cant decide. All im hearing are bad things. Are these "isolated" issues, or pretty much everyone is experiencing all the crappy bugs that came with 1.2?

Don't, seriously. You might not have trouble in 1.2 or you might have them. You will most likely be having a nicer time in 1.1

Depends.

PS3 is terrible
Xbox is normal but still boring
PC modders attempt to make a more fun game

I have been running the game in offline mode since release night, so far I haven't had any problems with anything and after reading many comments about the new patches I can't say im in hurry to update the game. I will probably wait until the January patch that is supposed to rebalance some things.

I haven't CTD since 1.2. Seriously. That's enough for me.

Well, regarding that, I heard on PS3 it lengthens the life of your games, although the ps3 version is currently [censored] up, so avoid it if possible.

On PC and xbox It can make some dragons fly backwards and screw magic protection, and It barely fixes anything.

So don't install It unless you're on a PS3

I don't have any of the new bugs 1.2 put out, backwards dragons, resist bug and the like. No performance problems but the corpse problem fix i was looking forward to is still not working.

Seems what you get if anything at all, as far as new bugs or performance problems on PC, is a bit of a hit or miss.

The textures are better (as far as I could tell), but the pop-in was awful.
