Mjoll the Lioness Comes with Baggage

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 5:04 am

I married Mjoll after some time adventuring with her. I truly believed we were in love. Then, after exploring a cave, I came home to find that fool Aerin with her in my own house. I'm in the right mind to slit the advlterous imperial's throat, but he never seems to be far enough away to make a clean kill. Any suggestions?

Tell her to come with you and wait. Go kill him. Now she will stay your companion.

That's not actually as bad as it sounds :hubbahubba: he's just scripted to follow her, have her as an active follower when you ask her to marry you and it fixes it, a bigger issue is her treatment of the people she's supposed to protect :lmao:

Unfortunately, when she leaves, he leaves, and if they're in the same cell he follows her. Out of curiosity one time I attacked her deep in an isolated Dwarven ruin miles from Aerin's home in Riften, and he immediately appeared behind me with an iron dagger. Im starting to consider Fus Roh Dah-ing them both off of the Throat of the World.

Have them wait somewhere, sneak off, fury them both, she'll kill him for you.

I married Aela and we tagged about for a bit. Then I heard about Mjoll, that she was competent in two-handed and heavy armour. I wondered if I she was the one that would make me cheat on Aela.

So I met her and made her my follower. Seriously dude, each to their own but I find her accent annoying as hell, and I'm half Scottish! She starts telling stories (the same bloody stories she's told a million times before) right in the middle of battle.

I sacked her and felt ashamed I would ever think of leaving Aela.

I came home to a sixy werewolf babe (complete with nvde mod) and her wholesome home cooked meal.

Never again. Aela forever...

I thought it was cool that Aerin came to Solitude to visit but he never left, just stayed and kept knocking over my precariously placed trophies.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, Aerin's clearly in her "friend zone".

To put it in spoiler the box that says other styles above where you're typing has it, not sure about the quest since i haven't done it from the sound of it.

I never had her as a follower, but she got Aerin killed by getting in a fight with someone in Riften (Vulwuf Snow-Shod) over crap I dumped on the ground. Vulwuf killed Aerin first before Mjoll killed him.

I was considering marrying Mjoll at one point, but holy crap, why does she talk through other people's dialogs. So rude, I am always wishing she would shut the hell up. Sounds like a real marriage, though, now that I think about it.

To get rid of this uninvited house guest have your wife follow you when not in riften. Tell her to wait (best to do this inside your house), and the punk will start the long walk back to his house in riften. Walk behind him on the road until you are far away from prying eyes. Teach him some manors with an Ice Spike/dagger/mace/tire iron to his face. Drag his body into the nearest water source, a fast moving stream is good for extra fun as he is washed away. Problem solved.

Game mechanics:
Whenever you set Mjoll as a follower Aerin walks back to his home.
If you attack Aerin when Mjoll is around (even out of LOS) she will hostile you and try to kill you.
If Mjoll is not a follower, Aerin will be next to her no matter where she is including YOUR house!

What about if Mjoll joins the Blades? Will Aerin run off fighting dragons with her?
