Keyring/Keychain

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 2:45 pm

First off, humblest apologies because I imagine this has been asked loads. I have honestly done several searches and I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for - (cue U2)...

I'm looking for a keychain or a keyring.
That's it, that's all!!

Thanks,
Mat

Thanks I saw that one.

It had a few dodgy comments to it - it's alright is it?

Always worked flawlessly for me, although lately I just use darnified UI and that collapses the heading so keys do not clutter up the screen.

Apparently you don't need the SI patch anymore...?

I've implemented the standard keychain - (not the combined one) - and the SI patch and it does actually come up with a message to say that you don't...
...I'm assuming that's all cool.

Good that you found it. A friendly suggestion to use the Mod Detectives thread for such requests in the future.

It has worked well for me for 20 or so hours, but lately I have noticed inventory freezes in developed games with OBSE 0.20. Now that I use DarN's UI, it's surplus to requirements, so I've removed it.

You mean the key-chain? Served me faithfully for over 2300 hours (3 characters total) and I still have to find reason to complain. After version 4+, that is.

As PeterId mentioned, once you get DarnUI, no point in having this keychain.

Yeah but I'm not really sure I want that UI... that's the thing.

I recommend Keychain, never failed me. Everyone always says "just use Darn", I do, but Darn's doesnt collapse inside containers. Nothing worse then scrolling through 100 keys just to put away a repair hammer.
