d3d9.dll fix for Oblivion?

Is there a mod like the d3d9.dll fix for Fallout 3 but for Oblivion? In Fallout 3, this modified dll "tells Fallout's FaceGen system to use a certain method that generally works much better for everyone. FaceGen is what causes the slowdown when looking at NPCs." The mod for Fallout 3/NV can be found here:

I tire of my framerate dropping to 15 when I have more than 3 NPCs on screen...

Oblivion Stutter Remover? Not really, if I read the description.

I too would be interested to find out more about this.

Already have it and, while it did improve overall game stability, it does nothing to address the NPC issue... Thanks for the reply though!

About the only thing I can offer is PyFFI, since it simplifies mesh geometry (meaning less work to draw the same structures on-screen). It could have a small impact on NPC faces; I've never noticed.
