I like Caravan using random shuffled decks, great challenge, mixes skill and luck i think
But when i went for that achievement I used a more systematical approach to winning all 30 and only lost once for some reason, this approach seemed to take age, wasn't much fun and just really sapped my love for the game away thus i returned to randoms decks :run: :jammasterjay:

I actually got this achievement by doing it legit, I didn't even know about the 7,9,10 thing till after. I wasn't shocked because I was going for it but I still had fun. I enjoyed caravan (once I knew how to play) using random decks and defeating your opponent was awesome. I do remember losing a couple time in which case I did cheat (saved before playing the game) but that was only because I like seeing the 30+ and 0 stat lol.

I didn't cheat at all, i used this trick i didn't really know was by picking the higher numbers first and laying them out for i could get 26 about every time, then i only lost once to Ringo which was my first try. Then i played caravan with that crazy fool no-bark. I just thought it was amazing.

I only did it for the trophy, I used a special method. Personally I dislike Caravan.

I've won 30+ games by random and picked decks at different times.
I don't see how it's not legit when it's specifically in the rules and that given that if the game had been played irl or had its kinks worked out the opponent would do the same as you however.

I like it. My deck looks like this: I put a heart and a club of each number card in my deck, then put all face cards (except for the Jokers, if you count those) in. It equals up to 22.

lol I've had this game since it first came out, playing it to death since then and I still have no idea how to play caravan. Every once in a while I try to learn and then I'm like "WTH?"

I did it with randomized decks and no reloads, it was actually pretty easy since the NPCs don't play face cards or Jokers on you.

The character I did it with already had about 90K on hand after breaking the casinos so I didn't need the cash, but he was a hardcoe gambling addict and couldn't pass up an opportunity to play cards with anyone.

You need at least 30 cards to play....

I'm talking about the discard the other cards until nothing but 7s,9s, and 10s. Which I suppose is legit but a really cheap way to win.

Ah OK, never done that, I just built decks that are likely to win.. but still have a very small chance of losing.
Only times I've dicarded was when I could not play a card, which the PC does as well.

Honestly thought I was glad its over. I enjoy playing it, and play it IRL thanks to my FNV Collectors Set. :P Just the act of getting it was a pain in the balls.
