[REQ] A skull with eyeballs mesh and texture

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 10:07 pm

I'm looking for a floating skull with eyeballs, similar to http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m313/gulfwulf/Morrowind%20pics/Morte/MGEScreenshot114.jpg for an NPC I'm contemplating making. Does anybody know if there's a resource already available I could use or would someone be willing to make me something like this? Thanks.

Oy! Can't somebody help this berk? He's working on a highly interactive companion mod. We can all use more of those!

And this is the guy who did Jasmine, folks. Only Morrowind companion to jump into a fight for you without seeing you first pulped by whatever you were fighting. Vanilla Oblivion made it standard, but only after Jac did it.

That's pretty cool. The texturer in me is intrigued. I don't think I've ever seen a resource already.

Would that go on a human skeleton or a creature skeleton? Or, when you say new mesh are you expecting something totally different?

I realized now I should have explained why I wanted the skull. A few months ago I took Morte from Planescape: Torment and made him into a http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=9249. I'd like to port him into Oblivion, but I need a skull with eyeballs that I can use as an NPC's head. He was human at one time, but after getting on the wrong side of a necromancer, he's now just a floating skull with eyeballs. I have no issues with using a stock Oblivion human skull, I'd just like it to have eyeballs as well. :whistling:

@Hanaisee: I hope that answers your question. If you can find or make me a mesh that's suitable and can retexture it so that it looks like the picture I posted (or even more weathered since Oblivion takes place centuries after Morrowind and Morte's still around), I'd appreciate it.

Hmm, I don't think the http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn174/Wren823/humanskull.jpg (very rough draft texture) is going to work, considering its smooth roundness and the fact it has a neck, nose and lips.

A retextured vanilla skull would probably be perfect but that's just a plain static. Does this need to be rigged to act human-ish?

It's going on an NPC, but the mouth doesn't need to move. I'd like for the eyes to follow the player if possible, but that's not a requirement if it can't be done. The Morrowind version was made from a static head that had the Better Heads billboard eyes added to it.

Is this a little closer to what you had in mind?

Those are modified vanilla eyes right now but I can look at the eyes for BH and see if it's doable.

Oh yeah, that'll certainly work for the mesh. Thanks.

[edit]: Can you change his eyes to a dark blue?
