[RELz] F.O.O.K. - The Fallout 3 Overhaul Kit #7

For some reason they've decided to only have it for download on FOOKUNITY. You need to go there to download it.

the reason is that its less hussle for us and better for the user. Our DL server has way better DL speed and more importantly no file size limit so in future we won't need to split up the files anymore (which is a major pain in the ass for us and the user), not to mention that uploading huge files on nexus requires often several tries, that's rly no fun.

@ Sheer:

The Coyote Armor and the japanse stuff doesn't rly fit into (our view of) FO3. Such things are better left to each person itself if they wann have these items in their game.

Regarding the other two... we will use certain weapons from einherjrar's work but not that many, we want to offer a higher average quality in v2 when it comes to graphics AND balance, this means i'll be a lot more picky when it comes to including stuff.
Prometheus combat armor will most likely be included.

I never said it was a bad thing :P Just said that for some reason it was no longer available on Fallout 3 Nexus. Good to understand why thanks!

Hrm, I just ran into an odd issue. I loaded up a save I made last night in which I was wielding a Guardian Minigun and wearing Power Armor and everything was working fine. However, after loading up the save and unequipping it for another gun and then attempting to equip the minigun again I got the message stating that I have to be wearing Power Armor to equip it... and I still am wearing Power Armor. I tried unequipping my gear and putting it back on, but to no avail.

[+] Weapon/armor condition of NPC's increases with the PC lvl making the game more challenging at higher lvl's

=> you won't met enclave soldiers at lvl 17 that have in average just an armor and weapon condition of 40% (Enclave for example tops now at 95%!)

Unless you're wearing Power Armor added by another mod, it might be due to either the FWE-FOOK or WMK-FOOK compatibility patch. Check this thread for details: http://www.fookunity.com/forum/showthread.php?t=609

If you're not using those CPs, you can try loading the "FOOK - No Requirements for Miniguns, Gatlings, 20mm Flak.esp" plugin.

Looks like someone from the FOOK team better make a new thread. Hopefully the last before FOOK 2.0!

Well, Im not using either of those and I did load the no requirements to fix it, doesn't make any difference in my playing since I rarely use the guns and am always in Power Armor if I do use it since it will be a big firefight.

OK... now that's really odd, I just got the power armor message again, while using the no requirements plugin, when I tried to equip Eugene. First time I wasn't wearing power armor, second attempt I was.

On topic, IMHO with FOOK and MMM you level up way to fast....I was about level 15 before I even rescued "Dad" from the emulation, now I'm at lvl 22 looking for a geck. Feel like I'm going to be maxed out before I even get to try any DLC.

Off topic slightly, isn't it wild how much more laid back the mods are here compared to the oblivion forum? This thread being at post 210 or so....

Levelling up has always been an issue (i.e. too fast) thats why I use XFO and one of the slower levelling mods. Just don't use the REALLY slow one (epic i believe) unless you don't want to hit level 30 until you have been round the wasteland at least twice!
