The game is abandoned?

I bought the game yesterday and I have noticed that the game has a bad optimization because when I try the demo version (before game release) the game was in directx9 and I could play it very well, but now I have bad fps with dx9 and dx11...
The game is abandoned or Crytek want to continue updating the game?
Anyone knows?

My PC Specs:
Gigabyte GTX460 1GB DDR5 OC
Intel Core2Quad Q6600 2,4 Ghz
Windows 7 x64
RAM: 6 GB

Last update (1.9) caused a big drop in performance and it's officially the last one. No more patches, I know this svcks but we have to live with it...

your core2quad Q6600 is the biggest bottleneck here. crysis 2 use generous amounts of CPU in MP. i've seen up to 67% with my core i5 2500K.
overclocking your cpu to around 3.4 GHz should improve your experience.
also turn down the graphics while in MP

I run a Q6700 2.66 o\c'd to 3.20. yes lot's of cpu action in this game. 1 gig vid. works great on or offline for me.

Wanted to add that I have my settings on extreme. Vid card usage is in the 800meg range with cpu around 65%. Smooth.
