Why all the threads about Centurions against NCR Rangers? I am more scared of Praetorians, even though in theory they would probably be matched against the NCR Heavy Trooper.

Praetorians are Caesar's personal guard, and Centurions are like actual field generals. I think Praetorians are supposed to be stronger, but they wouldn't usually be seen fighting.

They seem more like a colonel than a general.

I bet many Praetorians were once Centurions, Praetorians are trusted with guarding Caesar so they are obviously really powerful but then again so are Centurions. Its a tough choice but I am going with.......... Praetorians.

oh, well idk the real-world command structure, but i think that Centurions each control about 400 people (probably more) so whatever that makes them is whatever they are.

So would Colonel Hsu be the equivalent of a Centurion in rank? Though the 2 systems are pretty different so idk if there is a such thing as equivalents

They seem better than Centurions because they are always in a confined area where you must deal with their Uber fists. Get them out of Caesers tent and they go down just like anyone else who brought a displacer glove to a gun fight.

Centurions (for the little time we actually see them) use high end ranged weapons, and would be equally as deadly with an Uber fist. In confined area.

Centurions are more versatile, and wear armour with dt close to the vet rangers. That is why people attempt to compair them.

I'm pretty sure Chief Hanlon says that the Praetorians aren't necessary the best soldiers in CL, but the ones most devoted to Caesar.
