CRYSIS 2 DX11 CRASH! Please help me..

Post » Wed Dec 14, 2011 12:15 pm

Hi all.
How many more people in this forum, I have a problem with Crysis 2.
I installed Patch 1.9 and related Texture Pack, and if it is enabled the DX11, the game after a few minutes incurs a CRASH.
I don't think their is a problem of my PC, since I have these hardware specifications:

- i7 2600
- GTX 570 (clock 780mhz)
- 8GB RAM

If I disable the DX11, the game works perfectly, even with high configurations (ALL ULTRA).
How is it possible that there is still a solution?

What GFX driver version are you using? Also, what is your OS.

Is your video card overclocked? Or is it a factory OC card?

Try lowering your GFX's clock speed to see if that solves your problem. If it does it may mean your GFX card needs a slight voltage increase or there may be an updated firmware available for it.

*Definitely this. Voltage up or clock down.

Underclocking the CPU by .1 to .3 Ghz has also solved this problem very consistently (Increased CPU voltage does not help).
