Do you have the latest patch? Because that patch completely messed up resists so that even if you have 100, it is really 0.

But I can oneshot everything in the game wearing a blindfold on Master modded to be 100 times more difficult!

The game is hard and only someone as awesome as me could possibly beat the game!

Oh, and some of my parts are HUGE on the internet.

I don't think that many people used 100% resist before the patch.

Big thing was -100% magicka cost.

I find bears and other creatures tougher to kill then bandits and spell casters, but that's just me.

The people who say master is too easy are generally well-experienced gamers who beat the crap out of fast-twitch games like Ninja Gaiden. They know the ins and outs of the number-crunching side of it, because if you do it right, it's very easy to be really powerful. They wanted to max out their characters and still be challenged. This simply isnt the case.

TL;DR - If you know what you're doing, this game isn't too rough.

If you use resistances you won't die so quickly but it seems like resistances are broken... The game IS too easy

Watch this video of normal guy playing skyrim on master, you can watch his whole playthrough to see how he does: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acXjjD_lCi8&feature=related Go to around 21:45 on that video and watch as ancient dragon gets owned.

This game isn't hard...unless you play a mage. Every difficulty level is 2 slots ahead of the regular one. After Master, if you play a mage, there is a Masochistic level and an Insane level.

LOL!

I play Skyrim outside in the snow so I won't break immersion.

That means some of my parts are EVEN BIGGER on the Internet.

Am I doing it right?

Uhh... what? I think you're doing it wrong then. Master is hard for a mage early on because your mana efficiency isn't good enough to kill very many enemies when they have increased health, but once you've got some decent spell casting gear, a good staff, and a Black Star or Azura's Star, you can start dominating. You know you're powerful when on master difficulty your level 28 wizard can take out a level 40 elder dragon (though I haven't downloaded any of the patches so my magic resistance actually protects properly against breath weapon).

I think the only time I've died in recent memory is when I got jumped by a sabre cat and wasn't really paying attention, and when a vampire's thrall got resurrected behind me and two shot me. Enemies increase damage is only relevant if they can get close enough to you.

Depends on your build.

Some skills and combos make master a joke. (no abusing/exploiting required)

Mages are the EASIEST to play at low levels. Mana efficiency? Learn to use your novice spells properly, you can cast them forever with base regen and the novice destro perk. If you want to really troll the game you can spec illusion or conjuration and just waltz though everything.

Destro mages once they get 40 destruction magic are virtually invincible, they no longer need armor or magic resist other than to protect against that one stray arrow from an archer you didn't see.

That's because YOU're doing it wrong...

It's easy or hard depending on build and gear.
And yes some people exploit but that doesn't mean that everyone who doesn't do that have to think the game is hard.

Sneak backstab with the dark brotherhood bracers that double the backstab multiplier, giving a total multiplier of x30 using a good weapon.

I've died WAY more often in Skyrim than in Dark Souls.

Hell, I died more in Skyrim when I had played it less than Dark Souls.

Hard is very subjective. I find it depends a lot on your perception of the character you're playing. If you think that he's an invincible demi-god, then the game seems too hard if you die a lot. If you think he's just an ordinary person who happens to be really good at a couple of things, then dying a lot isn't immersion-killing. I die all the time, but I don't find the game frustrating because of it. I find it realistic. I would like it less if it was easier. But there's nothing wrong with wanting to play differently. I wouldn't recommend my character build to anyone. :)

I'm using a mod which increases spawn numbers and the over all level of spawns. The sweet spot for it seems to be on expert. I'd rather fight more enemies my level than few enemies higher/bullet spongy.

Why am I getting one shotted by a bandit with an elven bow 36BMG and an iron arrow, while I am wearing ebony heavy ledgendary armor. I have an enchanted dedric bow from hell using ebony arrows and I can only one shot from sneak. But then again it is never good is it. Either too easy or too hard! :)

Edit, just checked, that sneaky bandit was using ebony arrows, cheeky!
