I'm sorry Bethesda, but the snow looks horrible...

Why are you so dramatic? Yeah, I think the snow looks bad. I think they should fix it. I didn't say "The snow is bad and thus the entire game is bad."

You have like 20 people telling you that the snow part is nonsense.. Doesn’t makes you question urself for a sec?? I guess not.. As for me being dramatic? I think the only one being dramatic here is you.
Note** I’m not trying to fight with you, so take a chill-pill and breath.. It’s not that serious..

Your mother is a snow blower.

+1 for short circuit quote.. We are showing our age a bit though

My snow looks like someone spilt white gloss everywhere but I thought that was just down to the 360.

Well, since the 'snow' is a runtime effect, putting footprints and pee tracks in it is problematic at best.....and generally not worth the effort. There's no 'real' geometry involved, after all.

I didn't exactly say we needed snow physics so I could throw snowballs at the children.

Yeah.

But... come on. I bet you've thought about it?

Replying to I'm sorry Bethesda, but the snow looks horrible...

Just mod your game as Bethesda wont fix the snow so you will have to.

I try not to complain much about trivialities or matters of pure opinion, but the snow in this game looks horrible to me. I would normally assume that a game taking place in a northern climate would have good looking snow. One of the first towns I ever visited was Morthal, and I thought the textures on their decks were bugged. Was the snow made in MS paint?

Oh, and why don't I leave footprints in it? :sadvaultboy:

I agree; epically in the few tons the snow looks dull. No details in small areas of the town/ maps.

It's windy as hell but the snow stays on the trees and the trees don't move although the snow effects around them goes.

I little disappointing from where I'm sitting.

I can't honestly recall a game that had tree swaying physics.

Except of course DOOM. Now that game was a technological marvel, and a programming masterpiece still unparalleled.

Speak for yourself, I would rather have a full blown snow simulator.

If I want a snow simulator, I can go outside 4 months out of the year...but I cannot go anywhere in the real world to swing a sword and kill a mammoth...or shoot fire or ice from my hands.

I think the snow looks fine; granted I live in Texas so my exposure to it is minimal but it looks like I remember it to look when I lived farther north. Footprints would be nice; tracking animals..blood trails but something tells me that would be very hard and processor intensive to do. So, it looks fine. Next.
