I was looking at something unrelated on The Vault when I stumbled across the page for the Classic Pack which stated it was pre-order bonus. This confused me because my copy came with the classic pack but I didn't pre-order, I bought it new a couple days after it came out. So uh... did I just get lucky or is The Vault wrong?

The Classic Pack is indeed a pre-order bonus. Gamestop if I remember correctly.

Yup you just got lucky, probably what happened was somebody pre ordered it but never picked it up so they just stuck it on the shelf and you got it.

Yes, I bought it from Gamestop, about 3 or 4 days after it came out I believe.

Actually, a lot of stores were still giving out the pre-order bonuses after the release date.

I bought my copy of New Vegas two weeks after release and still got the bonus.
